Tollgate Hire was established over 30 years ago.
Tollgate Hire rents Economy Cars, Estates , People Carriers, Minibuses, Vans, Tippers, Drop sides, Lorries and Heavy Goods Trucks. We also offer fully comprehensive insurance cover for our vehicles and account facilities for corporate users.
Two Local Depots

Tollgate Hire has two depots in Bristol, Bedminster and Hanham, giving the whole of Bristol, Bath and outlying areas the convenience of a Local Branch.
Each depot offers customer parking and customer collections between the following hours:
Monday – Friday: 8am- 6pm
Saturday: 8am – 1pm

The Tollgate Range
From Economy to Luxury cars, 9 seat people carriers to 17 seat minibuses, Transit Connect to 18 ton Heavy Goods Vehicles. Tollgate Hire prides itself on the quality brands it uses - Mercedes, Ford, Scania and Volkswagen. When you need one of these you can be sure that Tollgate Hire will have one clean and ready to hire immediately.
Overnight drop-off facility
Outside of normal opening hours vehicles can be returned to the supplying branch at your convenience, day or night, using our special drop-off facility. This is especially popular for the weekend user who prefers not to have to return their vehicle on Monday, and having to take time out of work to do so.

All of our vehicles can be taken to Europe and Ireland by arrangement. Tollgate can help you plan your trip! Let us know your destination and what you need to carry and we will do our very best to ensure you are matched with the right vehicle for your travel at a price you can afford.

24 hour Recovery assistance
If the worst should happen, whether you are in Paris or Aberdeen, assistance is just a phone call away. Our Roadside assistance and recovery is on hand 24 hours 365 day. Tollgate can provide a replacement vehicle if necessary and will do all it can to ensure you and your load makes its destination as planned.

We accept most credit and debit card and corporate accounts can be arranged for the regular business user.
